The company covers an area of ​2,000 square meters and produces 8,000t/a of chicken, pig, duck and fish powder feed; 20,000t/a of chicken, pig, duck and fish series formula feed; 15,000t/a of extruded feed. The company has 75 employees, none of whom live and eat in the factory, work 300 days a year, and work 8 hours a day.

Due to the development needs of the company, the customer carried out a renovation and expansion project in the existing factory area. The construction content of this expansion project is as follows:

  • ① Dismantle the production line with an annual output of 8,000t/a of chicken, pig, duck and fish powder feed, and build a new production line with an annual output of 50,000t/a of extruded feed;

Production process

This fish feed manufacturing plant in USA project will build a new production line with an annual output of 50,000t/a of extruded feed. The feed production process of the feed factory is briefly described as follows.

  1. Raw material reception and cleaning: The main raw materials required for the floating fish feed production line project production during the operation period are transported into the factory area by car. When receiving the main raw materials, the raw materials that need to be crushed are screened to remove impurities. If unqualified raw materials are found during the raw material reception and cleaning process, they will be returned to the supplier.
  2. Raw material feeding: Solid raw materials are put into the production equipment, and a small amount of dust and noise are generated during feeding. The dust is collected and processed by the dust collector equipped with the production line.
  3. First crushing: After the raw materials are put into the equipment, they are crushed by the crusher.
  4. Mixing: According to the product formula requirements, various raw materials participating in the ingredients are weighed and put into the mixer in turn.
  5. Second crushing: The mixture is crushed for the second time, because the finer the particles, the larger their surface area, and the larger the contact area of ​​the digestive fluid with them, thereby improving the digestibility of the feed and increasing its nutritional value.
  6. Second mixing: The raw materials that have been crushed for the second time are mixed again.
  7. Granulation (livestock and poultry feed and fish feed): The mixed raw materials enter the pelletizer, and the material temperature is adjusted to 80-85℃ by steam, and the water content of the material is about 10%, and then the pelletizer is used to make pellets of standard particle size.
  8. Extrusion and drying (extruded feed): The extrusion process mainly involves passing boiler steam into the puffer through the steam pipe to heat and puff the raw and auxiliary materials after the second mixing. Part of the steam enters the material, and part of the water vapor will mix with the odor of the material to produce a certain amount of steam odor exhaust gas. After the material is extruded in the floating fish feed extruder machine, it is loaded into the dryer for drying. The moisture content of the material after drying is about 2%, and a certain amount of steam odor will be generated during the drying process.
  9. Oil spraying: The semi-finished product after puffing enters the sprayer, and oily liquids such as grease, vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids are sprayed on the surface of the pellet feed in batches.
  10. Cooling: After the oil spraying is completed, the material is sent to the cooler for cooling. According to the information provided by the construction party, this section is mainly closed production, and the production process is controlled by the control center, so there is no situation of manual opening of material valves and material leakage during the production process.
  11. Finished product classification: The cooled particles enter the finished product classification bin and are classified by the classification screen.
  12. Measuring, packaging and warehousing: The qualified products are measured and packaged, and then put into the warehouse for sale.
